Jesse Gabel

Hi, I'm Jesse.

I’m a designer and independent project maker based in Eindhoven, starting the Foundation Year at Design Academy Eindhoven in September.

I work across design, research, hospitality, and community-building, with a focus on turning ideas into tangible experiences and products. I’m interested in how the environments we create shape how people live, learn, and connect.

Selected Work

Commons (2025–26)

Founded and developed a community focused on deeper relationships, growing it to 700+ members across 60+ events with 140+ paying customers.

Agora (2024–25)

Developed a community café concept exploring how hospitality spaces can facilitate meaningful social interaction, from the business model and spatial concept to programming and community design.

Alternative Education System (2022–23)

Developed an alternative education model for young people over ten months. The project won The Education Design-A-Thon and resulted in an invitation to continue it through The Residency in San Francisco.

Independent Design & Research (2017–25)

Worked across product, web, visual design, market research and digital projects.
